About Satoru

I have started Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga on 2004 @ International Yoga Center in Tokyo Japan.
In practice with Ken Harakuma and Marie Murai, I have been realizing inner changes which Yoga brings to me.
After a few year regular practice in Tokyo, I started a trip in asian countries including Australia for 18 months.
In the trip, I deepened Ashtanga Yoga with Denna and Emma In Byron bay, Regi Clarence in Perth and many teachers in Bali, Sydney, Chiang Mai, KL.
After settling down in Bangkok, Nigel Marshall gave me a lot of hint.
Authorized by Sharath Jois.

FAQ

I’ve never done yoga before — can I join?
Yes. All classes are beginner-level. Satoru practices alongside everyone and demonstrates each pose, so it’s easy to follow. Rest anytime you need.

Which day is best for a first-timer?
Friday’s Active Series at the park is the easiest and best for beginners. Wed/Sat park classes (Led Primary) and the studio classes are also open to beginners, but move at a steadier pace.

What language is the class taught in?
English and Thai. On Wed/Sat park classes, the counting is a recorded MP3 track played for the whole class.

Do I need my own mat?
No — a free mat is available to borrow. Just bring comfortable clothes, a towel and water.

What if it rains?
The outdoor park class may be cancelled on rainy days. We announce it in the LINE group at least 30 minutes before class, so please join the group before your first visit.
